Ran into a guy last week who mentioned teaching security people "bilateral" shooting or grip for ambidextrious corner approaches. Huh?? I thought any old isosceles or even Weaver variant could be adjusted/fudged for left and right corners.

Anyone heard of this?

Looked at the dude's course outline and he separately covers strong hand/weak hand shooting. Sensibly enough for my tastes, he has the students try both Weaver and Isosceles for familiarization, and encourages them to use the one which lets them perform best.

Got it now. It's two-hand, but reversed from your usual strong side. Think support-hand, then add your strong hand in as the support hand. Feels a bit different but works okay. I think I prefer just switching to my non-dominant eye and adjusting my position when going around those other corners.
