I heard very good things about this product...it seems to be more permanent (the package says double strength) than the Perma Blue product from the same company..there is anything even better in the market or this is the best solution for little repairing and touch-up work??

Well, I've never had much success with the product, despite a number of attempts. "Blue Wonder" has performed admirably for me, and in some cases, has rejuvinated the finish on old blued guns so successfully that the treated area has been indistinguishable from areas with original finish. Also, unlike the usual cold blue formulations, Blue Wonder won't take the bluing off of unaffected areas. Perma Blue, Super Blue and other similar formulas (using selenium) can turn a small worn area into a big worn area fast, so be careful.
