1873, 1851, 1860, 1861, 62 police, etc... these all use the same grip frames if im not mistaken, in fact, from the 1851 up until the last of the 1860 series and conversion models they essentially used the same frame... so that thunderer backstrap from taylors made by pietta should fit a pieta 1860... i cant confirm this though because i dont have one
You are mistaken. The 1862, as origianlly built, was a 5 shot 36 caliber revolver built onthe 31 caliber frame. THe Pietta version is merely a short barreled 1861.
