Any long term experience with the BKL mounts with the double rings and
double clamping screws on each mount. I have one set that seems very solid,
but I haven't used them long term. Thanks

I use the BKL-454 on my 10/22. It's simple, reliable, and accurate. Well built, with a nice finish. Not the exact product you're asking about, but I've had it mounted for 10 years with no issues.

I have had the single rings on 3 rimfire rifles and they've been fine for many years. It might be 4 rifles by now, I don't remember, and I have some new rings waiting on me to buy some new rifles.

Let's see, 2 T-36s, a big Leupold EFR and a little EFR, a Weaver 2x-7, heck I don't know anymore. :) I think I put the Burris rings with inserts on the Cooper, so that makes... nevermind.

I have two of them. They sure do hold solid! I have had mine for about 3 years.

Thanks for the input. They do seem very solid compared to the tip off style 22 rings.

If the ring spacing on the one piece works with your scope I would prefer that myself, never can have too much clamping surface on a dovetail mount.

These are rimfire rings. The plain old single rings are sturdy enough; no loctite or anything fancy and no cranking down on the screws is required.
