I took this fighter and coated it in Brownell's Parkerizing Gray Alumahyde - came out almost black and looks sweet! Has Black G10 handles that are sandblasted!

Fighter
6" Blade, 12" overall
3/16" 154CM, HT by Bos
1/4" SS pins

Man, you have got to stop posting pics of such things. You're severely testing my self control.

I want one!

wish my budget could afford one, oh well someday.
Ummm... speaking as someone with firsthand experience in the matter - your conscience won't hurt you if you strain your budget a bit and get one. It's that good.

Really.

:D

NICE!

I really like the fuller too.

I normally don't care for 'fighters' but really have to pay my complements to you on this one Valkman!

I don't like black blades...... But that's nice. you can really see the edge on it.

Valk..... you tempt me as well.....

I know the knife is worth the money, that's not the problem. Problem is wife who says I have too many knives and would have a fit if I bought a knife that expensive :scrutiny: while at the same time I am negotiating an AR purchase with her. :p

BTW meef, what part of Oregon?

Valkman, it's a shame for you that your knives are out of my price range; if I had some extra cash I'd own a copy of all of your knives.

I imagine I sound like a broken record here, but considering a Valkman knife out of your price range is a shame.

There are lesser quality knives out there for considerably more money. These are first class blades at a bargain price.

Pick one, splurge. It'll last you the rest of your life.

I'd wager you wouldn't regret it.

I hear all the time that my knives are too cheap and I need to raise my prices. But in this economy I really hate to - and also for the many here that have found a way to afford one. I hate to price anyone out of the market for my knives but can only go so cheap. Anyone that cannot afford one should talk to me as I get "seconds" that have a slight flaw and are just as good but have a big reduction in price. I have a Coyote Fighter right now that I let the coating "run" on one part so I can't sell it for full price. I have another Fighter with scratches on one side that I'm waiting to discount for a soldier who can't pay what I normally charge. Always ask and see what I have laying around!

Meef- Don't get me wrong, Valk's knives are a steal. The problem is I'm a college student who is just getting into the knife collecting scene and who has very little spare money. I have been slowly saving up some money for a good custom knife, and I can promise you that if anyone is going to get that money, it's going to be valkman. This January is my birthday, and I think then will be the time of my splurging.

Like what? With a coating? Eew! LOL

:) Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking. How bout a regular Chef knife?
I have plenty of hunters, but I got a second job in a restaurant cheffing it up and need a good 12" knife (already have a santoku, boning, and paring knives). The ones used in the kitchen are from Wal-Mart.:barf:

That hunter is beautiful... Maybe I could get just one more hunter.
