Since I quit making I still have some blanks laying around, all heat treated by Bos and ready to go! They need to be cleaned up on a grinder or disc grinder and final ground from 120 to 400 grit and sharpened. All this can also be done by hand but it's a lot of work!

I have 2 Fighters that are made from 1/4" D2. These are 6" blades and 12" overall, and have lightening, handle and thong hole tubing holes drilled. Hollow ground on a 10" wheel. $75 each.

2 more Fighters that are made from 3/16" CPM154. These are 6" blades and 12" overall, and have lightening, handle and thong hole tubing holes drilled. Hollow ground on a 10" wheel. $75 each.

1 Bird & Trout blank - 3 1/2" blade and 8 1/2" overall. Made from CPMD2, all holes drilled. Hollow ground. $60. (2 sold already!)

1 Small Skinner blank - 2 1/2" blade and 7 1/2" overall, made from CPMD2. NOT GROUND. I profiled it and drilled all the holes and sent it for HT, intending to grind it later. Perfect for flat or hollow grinding. $60. (1 sold already!)

A great way to get a Valkman knife for cheap! :D

Paul Bos Treatment

Would it be accurate to mention that these were heat treated by Paul Bos before he retired?

That is to say, these would be some of the last crops of blades that have that treatment under his name while he was still in charge.

Yes?

Arfin, Yes these were done by Paul between 6 months and one year ago.

I'll try and get pics tomorrow.

These are the last knives I'll be selling!

The B&T and Small Skinner that are left - B&T is on the top:

It seems that I already did the cleanup work on some of these - the D2 Fighters and the B&T have already been finish ground and the handles sandblasted! All you need to do is wipe with acetone and epoxy handles on. :)

I may be good for a D2 Fighter. I get paid Thursday but I may be able to scrounge up the cash before then. I'm even more interested now that they are finished. What is the handle material? I'm assuming they're micarta?

I seem to have misstated the above - I sandblasted the sides of the knife but it's up to you to supply and attach handles. I finish ground the sides and hollow grinds, saving you tons of work. :)

One D2 Fighter sold! Highlander, if you want the other one let me know and it's OK if you can't pay until Thursday.
