Has anyone had their revolver finished using nitrocarburizing, like Melonite/Tenifer or more specifically Severn's Hard Hat?

I have a much modified stainless revolver that has multiple pieces that are different grades of stainless. The end result is a gun that has ever so slightly variations in color. I'm likely the only one that can see it but like any flaw you know about, that's all I can see. I've thought about sending it to Bob Cogan at AWP and having it hard chromed. Bob is the best! But I think I'd like this revolver black.

Most all I've run in to have had the finish done to automatics. I'm looking at having a stainless steel revolver finished in Severn's Hard Hat. All of the pictures I can find are automatics. While they are just gorgeous I'm having trouble visualizing a revolver. https://severnscustom.com/Hard_Hat_Treatment.html

I think most of the nitrocarburizing processes are the same but what I think sets specialists like Severn apart is the preparation.
