I thought I had medium or low rings at home and a couple old 3-9 scopes laying around. I put the extra low rings on and the scope hits the gun so ill need to buy low or mediums. Im still debating buying the centerpoint scope and just using a 3-9 I have laying around. The gun balances very well and not too terrible for being a HB. I even like the synthetic stock better compared to my current wood stock.Sounds like a sweet budget rig! Let's see some pictures when u get it all set up!
I had one of those scopes on a 17hmr for years before my little brother decided to try it on a Springer pellet gun. I love mil dots on rimfires.Savage mark II with bull barrel and accu trigger wearing a 4-16-40 ao centerpoint scope and Blackhawk bipod! $150 out the door for the rifle and $60 for the scope!

Sounds like black Friday was easier on your wallet than mine!
Been there done that, just not this year. I've actually been good. Not a thing..........so far..still being good. But probably just a LITTLE lacking in the fiscal responsibility department...
