Is it true that Black Hills isnt using Gold Dots anymore? Are they using Hornady?

Is there going to be any difference between the bullets? Opinions about Black Hills for defensive purposes??

Depends on what grain load you are buying. I use the 124gr Gold Dot but it is a +p loading. I have seen the 115gr and non +p loads using the XTP in 9mm. Also noticed it in the 45acp offerings.

If Black Hills is no longer using Gold Dots it is probably because the bullets are in such great demand that they cannot obtain the quantities sufficent for their own marketing needs.
Gold Dots are our biggest selling reloading hollow point handgun bullet at this time and they are difficult to keep in stock and it is difficult to obtain replacement stock.
