I was thinking about buying a 9.5 inch black hole weaponry 300 BLK barrel for my current SBR build. They seem solid and the price is right. Well last week they went on sale so I'm about ready to pull the trigger on one. But before I do I was wondering if anyone can speak for their accuracy and longevity? Is this barrel a good choice for a build that I plan on never selling and shooting a lot of rounds through?

You just used the words accuracy and 9.5 inch barrel in the same question.

My 24 inch 6.8mm SPC BLACKHOLE barrel shoots 90, 110 and 130 grain bullets like a house on fire.... This is at 200 yards with 110 grain accubonds.

i wonder if blackout barrels would ever wear out. i'm thinking they'd last as long as 22lr barrels if subs were used

Mine are all very accurate. Not sure I would spend that much on a barrel used for a short range, not exceptionally accurate round though. At the ranges a 9.5" 300BO is useful a barrel half the price would do just as well probably.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm wanting to do a high quality build but I also don't want to totally break the bank, so $200-$250 for a barrel is okay with me. I just want to make sure I'm making a good investment by purchasing a black hole barrel. Most reviews I've read have been solid. I was just looking for someone who could tell me their experience with them first hand

I have three Black Hole Weaponry barrels (6x45, 22x6.8 and 300 BLK) and pleased with all of them.

The 300 BLK is a 12" pistol barrel and i shoot it surprisingly well for an ungainly pistol.

When Black Hole Weaponry offers a sale, they get busy. They deliver as promised but it is still 3 months or so.

Customer service is great. They called me about a choice of features on my 300 BLK barrel and we arrived at a solution that would be more reliable. They want their barrels to work.
