My brother, who is in the academy is having difficulty with his Serpa Level III retention holster. It is department issued, for a Sig 220. It likes to hold onto that gun like it was Level VIII or something :/
It seems like the judicious use of a dremel or sandpaper might loosen up the tolerances so that the holster fits the gun, but he hesitates
because he'd rather not "tamper" with a department issued piece of equipment.
Other than repeatedly drawing and reholstering thE weapon, what can he do to loosen up the holster so he doesn't have to wrestl his weapon?
