One of my knives is in the May issue - it's out now - and from what I hear it got a full page! I expected a mention along with other knives but nothing like this! It's my first appearance in Blade and it'll also be in the next issue of Tactical Knives due out 4/1.

Here's the knife - I made it for another knifemaker and he's now telling me to keep it since it's in these magazines. I think I will keep it but will make him another.

Congrats on the publicity

Nice looking blade you have there. What's the big deal about giraffe bone?
Can you tell me your thoughts on using it for a knife handle?

I think giraffe bone is beautiful stuff, and it's stabilized so it's not fragile. Some don't like it but I don't know why. I've used it on about 5 knives and those are the most stunning knives I've made. I don't have any more now but to me it really adds to the looks of a knife. It also adds about $100 to the price of the knife.

LOL yea my head is ever expanding but the wife calls me "Blade Boy" now so she'll see I don't get too uppity.

I'm not well known enough for copies but that may change.
