There were a few full house custom jobs for the slick Smith & Wesson 39/39-2 models in the 1960s/1970s/1980s.
Top shop: Devel did great semi auto pistol work.
Paris Theodore was known by many as the American Q, . He reworked stock model 39 9mm pistols into the legendary ASP.

If I were right handed and needed a great deep concealment 9mm(in the 1970s/1980s) I'd buy a ASP 9mm. That or maybe a SIG Sauer P225.
I remember a Trapper's Gun Works back in the late '70s through the mid '80s. It was run by Lin "Trapper" Alexiou in Fraser, MI. He specialized in handguns for PPC, IPSC, law enforcement, and hunting. He primarily worked on S&Ws, Colts, and Rugers. I think the Scorpion was his version of a cut-down Model 39.
