BLC 2 for .223

When I was at 26.7 for my one rifle it was summer time and outside temps were around 100 F. I never had a chance to shoot any BLC(2) when it was colder to see how much difference it made.
(very seldom even freezes in the winter where I am at, however 100 is a medium summer day )

If 25 is working for you then there is no real reason to go higher unless you just want to. I would be tempted to work a little lower and higher (say maybe .3 either way) to see if it gets you any more accuracy. I did find that the .2 going from 26.5 to 26.7 made a difference for me, and 26.2 was also better than 26.5.
Glad BLC(2) seems to be working for you. Nothing wrong with newer powders, but nothing wrong with some older ones either.
