Bobtail 1911 w/lasergrip

Has anyone sucessfully put a Crimsontrace Lasergrip on a bobtailed 1911??

I would think it may be a bad idea. I have the LG-401 on my Kimber and from looking at it you'd be cutting really close the master on/off switch. I'll try to remember and check the grips on my Kobra when I get home.

You could always call CTC customer service at 800-442-2406 and ask them what they think

Not just Ed Brown. The Bobtail is now standard on all Dan Wesson Commander sized 1911s too.
