Body Armor taking non-spec rounds / fun testing

Here are some non-standard rounds taking-on body armor. This is for some fun viewing. Could be informative. I enjoyed these videos and thus wish to share. When I head to the range it is for sighting-in; then, I wish to have some fun. The second video ends with a small cannon taking-on body armor.

Y'know, even if body armor stops a round and the person wearing it is not particularly injured, still if a man is on the ground, his enemy can walk up and put a coups de grâce round through his pelvis or his head.

After this, Bulgarian surplus 7.62x25 military surplus ammo is tested against the IIIA armor.

Hint, the 7.62x25 military ammo bullet has a steel case.

Hint, speed kills body armor.

It’s pretty impressive, what speed brings to the game. A pellet doesn’t deform 1/8” steel at normal pellet gun speeds but get it up over 2000fps and it’s gets pretty close to going through.



What were the accelerators running, just shy of 4500?
