Beautiful South
my friends' 50 came today. Enjoy.

It appears to be of utmost quality and craftsmanship. The upper innards could use a little polishing to smooth the bolt action. There are slight machine marks prohibiting even, smooth movement, but overall, the quality appears to be A+. Value, A+, shipping/delivery, uh, I'm not going elaborate that point.

I am so glad my friend finally has it, and I can't wait to go out and shoot it with my him.

HEY! Did he steal my buttstock shotgun shell holder idea?! :)

Nice rifle. I like what he did with the new bipod. It looks like a great upgrade. Enjoy!

Looks great!

Your friend may want to upgrade his scope rings though. The big 50's are murder on scopes and rings.

If that ammo is API then be really careful where you guys shoot it. It is designed so start fires, and it will!

Have fun, I think maybe it's time I took my 50 to the range again.

thanks for all the replies. If you can believe it, the scope rings are Leapers, $7/pair. I wanted to figure out a few things ergonomically before I bought nice ones. Something that is messing it all up though, is the quick release mount by A.R.M.S. It is guaranteed to hold zero, but I can't get it to.:scrutiny:

I will clean the gun up and smooth the bolt carrier up a little bit more and go shooting with my friend soon. Right now the bolt action is a little bit on the un-smooth side for my liking.

nice rifle, never played with them much, have shot them, though, and not at all unpleasant, thats quite a recoil pad, is it 1 or 2 combined?
very nice rifle, have fun!
