Maybe this is a dumb question, but can you store multiple bolts in a bolt bag? Or is the idea to store them separately so they don’t scratch each other?
I would suggest that you NOT store multiple bolts of the same type (e.g. Rem 700 LA for a 30-06 case head size) in the same bag. It could lead to a real head-space ache. Frankly, I just leave mine in the gun.
I have heard of keeping bolts taken from my airplane while disassembling it for 100hr/annual inspections in jewelry bags to keep them together and organized, but never firearms “bolts”.
Totally different things!
But I did have a divided bag for a time, which held 3 bolts. It was a custom I had made by another leatherworker, as I had multiple bolts for the same rifle - but I wouldn't recommend this if you were trying to store bolts for different rifles.
I've heard of a bag of hammers (as in "dumber than...."), but a bag of bolts is a new one?
Inquiring minds want to know, are these spare bolts, or the bolts from all of your rifles?
