I have a Bushnell Trophy MP on my Bushmaster, and I'm boresighting it with a laser boresighter.
When I close my left eye (like when looking through a magnified scope), the illuminated reticle and laser dot/point of impact are perfectly in sync. However, when I have both eyes open, the laser dot shifts to the left of the reticle... I was under the impression that since its a non-magnified optic, that point of impact should be the same if one or both eyes are open when shooting.
So... Should I line up the laser dot with the reticle with one eye open, or both eyes open?
