i bought 3 of those barrels/mag kits. 2 for me and one for brother in law. went to the range and he shot remington 2 3/4" slugs at an 8" dong at 150 yards. he hit right above then he hit the dong. i had forgot my shotguns on that trip.
another day i went to a pond and hit a 2x4 right at water level where i was aiming with the 2 3/4" remington slugs but this was 70 yards. and this gun patterned well at 10 yards with 4 buck. this is the hd shotgun.
another range trip i brought my other mossberg(3rd barrel). it patterned fed flite control poorly at 50 yards. i've seen flite control buckshot do well at that distance. i tried estate 00 buck at 50 and everything that did hit the man size target went to left shoulder. i shot 5 slugs at the 8" dong at 150 yards and it kept hitting low even though i would raise the bead site every shot. plus the slugs where hitting left and right all over the place.
that 3rd barrel that did poorly did have just a bit of the bead screw going into the bore. i filed it down until it was smooth with a round file. think that was the problem?
