Bought a Firestar .45acp today!!

The local Pawn shop I've bought a few guns from had a Firestar 45acp in the case listed at 349. I asked him what he would take for it and he said 275. SOOOOOOOLD!! It is a blued model in very nice shape. I can't wait to get a couple more magazines for it and to take it to the range. I have two Star BMs but I have always wanted a Firestar. When I get it to the range I'll post a range report and some pics. I hope my wife loves me. When she finds out how many guns I bought this year,

Good buy for that price. Mags are expensive if you want the 7 rounders, but that is a great gun for the money. I have a blued one and my Dad has the Starvel finish- we are both fans. In fact, my Dad went recently and bought the M43 to match his M45.

I have always liked Stars. Maybe one day I'll get lucky and I"ll stumble on a Star PD. For now I'll settle for the M45. I used to own a Bersa 9mm. Mags were over 50 bucks. THATS expensive.
