I was visiting my favorite firearm store not really looking for anything in particular and spotted what I thought was just another AR. When I pulled it off the rack I was surprised to find that what I held in my hands was actually a semi auto magazine fed 12 gauge. I asked the the staff member for any information he could give me. I was on the fence about it for a minute. There was a KSG that was about 75 dollars cheaper. The selling point for me was it came with two 5 round magazines and a 2 round magazine that sits in the butt. I put 13 rounds through it the next day no cleaning no lube just loaded her up and as fast as I could sent 10 rounds of 00 buck and 3 light target loads. The the felt recoil in my opinion was was light. No hiccups. The escort sdx12 came with a knockoff grip pod, choke tubes, front and rear folding sights, and a removable front sight tower and rear sight assembly on a removable carry handle. Extra magazines were kinda hard to Google. I sent an email to the company via their website and got a reply back informing me that the 5 rounders are $35. All in all it's a sweet package for under $600.
