I swore that I would never buy a gun from a gunshow because they are always priced way too high. I've been planning on getting a PM9 regular stainless finish, I found one at a local shop for $519 which is the cheapest I have found and the black finish PM9's were $549. Well, I came upon a blackened PM9 at the gunshow for $399 and although I didn't want to spend the money, I had to buy it for that price. They said it was brand new (came with box and mags, etc.) but the gun was filthy inside. How many test shots do they do at the factory? Anyways, I cleaned it really well and put 200 rounds of WWB 115gr. fmj and UMC 115gr. JHP and it was flawless. I hate the stipling on the grip, really irritating. I brought a thin glove along because I had read about the grip hurting your hand. Big fireballs from that short barrel. I'm still learning how to shoot accurately with it, but I was impressed with how it did considering it was my first time shooting it. Hardest part is the length of pull to the trigger seems too short so I pull with the joint of my finger and it shoots left. I look forward to becoming more proficient with this pistol and I'm sure it will be great for carrying this summer.

Glad to hear it shot well for you, and that is a good deal...
I have a P9 and I know what you mean about the grips hurting your hand after awhile...
I installed a Hogue Jr. grip on mine and it solved the problem...drf

It sounds like the Kahr dealer promotion. They let a stocking dealer order one for themselves, at a deep discount. I think they are around $400 for a polymer with night sights.
