The gun isn't near as gasey as some would have you believe. Its there no doubt but nothing I really even notice. I can't tell you what adding a suppressor would do.

I've never heard it was an issue nor would I suspect it would be suppressed. Shooting suppressed is a whole different ball game when it comes to gas in the face from a number of weapons. Reports seem to indicate it is particularly bad on the MPX. I had heard it from a few people and the more I research it the more I hear about it.

I have actually never shot any firearm suppressed so I cannot comment on that. But for normal shooting I just don't notice it. Personally I find the MPX very pleasant to shoot. I have heard the same thing about the MPX and suppressors but I will never form 1 anything so it doesn't affect me.

I received the aluminum AFG and the buffer tube today, and my MPX is complete. For those not sure about the AFG, I think you will really like it. It gives a really nice grip with a rear end curve that let's the thumb fit behind. The buffer tube makes for a nice cheek rest. I also will never form 1 anything.
I'm going to the range this week to zero the Trijicon MRO.

I think I am just going to add the carbon fiber forend eventually. It is neat how easy it is to get the hand guard off of these things. I like to grip the mag well on it, pretty comfortable for me. But at the moment all I want is some freakin mags!!!!!

If you would post the estimated shipping time. Mine was 16 weeks. Be interesting to see if they match.
Eazyrider,
I just made an order for the three magazine special, and was told they think 4 to 6 weeks to ship. They are catching up on back orders as far back as April. I hope 4-6 weeks is true instead of 16 weeks.

Hopefully things have improved. I just hope they aren't blowing smoke. I appreciate your posting of the info.

My order just came in a few days ago. They said 8 weeks and I got them in exactly 8.

I have to say I'm really impressed with the quality of the pouches. The mags are extremely secure in there, but very easy to get out at the same time.

I swung and shook this pouch around as hard as I could trying to dislodge a magazine, and not a one budged. I'm sure they will loosen up a bit as they break in, but they seem to be made for serious work.

Regarding the gas blowback comments when MPX is suppressed - it's barely noticeable. My Ruger GP100 blows more gas back at me than anything I have ever shot. Bt I still shoot it. ;)

Excellent Firearm!

Congrats! I love mine. Just got 2 three packs of 30 round magazines myself. I also have the collapsible stock and sling bag on back order. Also, put in a Geissele SSA-E trigger. I am now running the new Aimpoint T-2 Micro. Sold my EOTech.

I bought an AAC T-Rant suppressor for mine. Of course waiting on the stamp.

Got my Trijicon MRO RD zeroed at 75ft. and looks like it is a winner for the MPX. It stays powered on all the time and no battery problems so far. Still waiting for the 3 pack magazines.
