I've been waiting for a no laser BG. When they released the .380 BG a couple years ago there was the promise of one coming without a laser pretty soon. Pretty soon has taken quite a while. I actually like the heavy trigger on this gun, most do not. I hope it works better then the lasered BG's I've read about.

Nice!

Although the trigger is harder and longer I find it far more accurate than the one on the improved LCP .380.

I have a BG with a laser for about a year now. 500 rds or so of various types of ammo and no issues whatsoever. I would have preferred no laser but I didn't wait.

I have a older one with the laser. It's been perfect. The heavy trigger will smooth out with use.

I've shot several thousand rounds with mine. No laser issues, no firing pin issues. I did do the laser button mod on it right out of of the box. And the laser is POA at 7 yards and easy to activate.

I bet they sell a ship load of the new ones. :)

ericbc7: I have never mastered the art of placing the laser on target with any speed. My hands seem to shake even more while trying to steady the laser on point. In about "68 I started to see scopes with long eye relief mounted on pistols. So I had my Smith mod 17 drilled and tapped and put a scope on it. I never shot it well other than from a rest.
I'm never gonna use a pocket pistol, whether it be a J Frame or .380 at distances more than 9-10 feet. So a laser is something I don't need. Others seem to think a snub with a laser is the cat's pajamas. More power to 'em. Different strokes so to speak.
The relatively heavy trigger on the BG's is fine with me. There's additional comfort knowing I'm not gonna shoot myself in the butt, and trigger reset is really positive, something I never liked about the LCP and other hammerless .380's. If I need to use the BG for it's intended purpose I guarantee the trigger weight won't effect me.

My friends Bodyguard has been very reliable and has a fairly smooth and light trigger to it. The only problems he has had have been with the laser. First one had a wandering zero and the new and improved module hasn't faired much better. Also battery life has never been very good. I would consider getting a Bodyguard without the laser.
