I agree - I have a feeling I'll be carrying mine more than my 1911, also. Summer is approaching and the shorts are going to start coming out soon...... once it hits 90 degrees everyday, it's hard to convince myself to strap on the big gun. Winter isn't a problem.....

Seriously this is causing a bit of rethinking for me. I really like all my handguns. I've collected them over time. I take pride in them. But I'd no longer really have a use for them. Especially now that the 9mm ammo is looking so good.

Quandary...

I haven't sold any guns, but I have a 442, 649 & P-32 that I no longer carry. It's all Rohrbaugh, unless I go full size with a BHP or 1911.

there is

a fella over on the ar-15 forum that has a NIB R9 for sale complete with everything for $1095, it is listed in the handgun section.. He has had it listed for sometime now and no sale yet. I offered him $850 today and he said no, so take it from there, if ur looking for one this fella has one...

Yeah, they're not cheap, but still my life is worth more.

Farnam claims to use +Ps in his with no ill effects. I (and Karl) still don't recommend it.

Cor-Bon has a new load out specifically for this gun: 80gr DPX (DPX0980/20) 1300fps 300ftlbs

As mentioned, I have a use for a gun of that size, but am not really willing to sacrifice cartridge power (.32 or .380 vs. the Rohrbaugh's 9mm Luger).

I am not sure how much you plan to shoot it, but I think some spare recoil springs would be a good idea. I can't imagine them lasting very long.
