Picked up a Remington 870 as a home defense/tactical shotgun. Unfortunately California has a dumb 10 day wait on all firearms so I'll have to wait a bit

I feel you should be buying ammo and put in for your next gun while you are waiting.
I can (almost) understand it for the FIRST gun purchase. (person gets mad/suicidal and gets gun/acts) It almost makes sense.. BUT after that its just totally stupid. Kinda like the divorce. The guys ex complained to judge that her soon to be ex was buying a GUN.... The judge asked him. Yep he was considering buying a revolver. From a city Police Officer in that town. He had a couple pistols/ rifles/ shotguns already. Judge looks at the BIQ (female in question) and shakes his head. Her case went downhill from there. That GUARENTEED edge she thought she would get? nope.
