$65?! Glock's for under $400?! Mr. Drebin please share with us the location of this promised land!

EDIT: Just finished reading these pages and figured out that I'm looking for a Stockbridge, GA. Damn. Mr. Ed needs to open a shop somewhere in Missouri.

Well, Ed's has a big blowout sale after Christmas every year. They usually have a large group of guns they got from a local PD. As far as the sub $400 Glocks, anyone can get those. Just go to any LEO aithorized Glock dealer and ask for the GSSF kit. They'll sign you up and you can buy 1 Glock at LEO pricing every 12 mos. Next year I'm grabbing a G36 with mý discount.

++ on the Rossi 461. These guns are some of the great unsung buys of the gun world. Got mine a year ago and have put 500+ rounds through it without any issues so far. The trigger isn't as nice as on my Smiths, but it does the job. Currently it gets carried more than anything else, too.

Scottishclaymore, have you taken the side plate off of yours and buffed the internals? It worked wonders on this old rust bucket.

It isn't that bad. Just take the plate off and have a look around. Its pretty straight forward and I'm a firm believer that everybody should know how their guns work. I'm kinda OCD that way though ;)

I think you should leave those grips on there! They're way cool! I think cleaning it up to where you've got it was smart. If it were mine, I'd try to figure out a clear finish to let the bare steel show, but be protected, and leave those amazing grips on the piece.

Man, oh man, I hope that the laws of karma present me with a find like that some day.

Josh
