bought my first AK

So I finally got bit by the AK bug. I didn't go big but
I don't think I went too cheap either. I was initially looking
at the Romy WASR-10/63's but after doing a lot of research
I decided to forgo the crap shoot of picking a good one and
went with a beautiful Polish AKMS Underfolder I found at
a gun show. It's made by Century Arms but the quality seems
better than their reputation. I think it may have one of those
"NoDak Spud" receivers but not sure how I can tell.



I seem to be finding little info or reviews on Polish AKMS underfolders
except for the ones by Red Jacket, which I don't have. The general consensus
seems to be that this is a decent rifle. Can anyone tell me about this rifle and maybe point me to some resources? I want to know everything I can find out about it.

Check out AKFORUM.com. You have a nice AK, that you will be happy with. I might suggest that you wrap the left side of the butt stock with para-cord. Your check with thank you, especially on hot days.

The Poles made a good AK. Whether it's still good after CAI got a hold of it will be a coin toss that hopefully lands in your favor. Good luck and enjoy.
