Bought my first Glock today

Bought a new G19c this afternoon, have not had a chance to shoot it yet. this is my first polymer gun, all revolvers and 1911's up to now. Got it for $529 at the LGS. planning on getting a lone wolf barrel so i can shoot lead but not sure if i am going to get the ported version, anyone have an opinion on ported vs. non ported aftermarket barrel?

Go with a non-ported IMO. I found a KKM for my 24C that is non-ported. Just got sick of the front sight gettting soiled. Go with a KKM, Jarvis, Storm Lake or Bar Sto barrel for lead shooting.

since glocks arnt pretty to begin with, so get you a ported barrel, excessive magwell and a mako group sight mount lol

I would get what will best mimic what you will use if you ever decide to carry it. If you will carry ported, get a ported.
