It looks like you have a hooded front sight, watch out for it, I somehow lost my front blade somewhere inbetween wrapping up at the range and home.

Other than that, great .22 (though Marlin will always have my heart, BSA memories.).

Add a Butler Creek magazine loader. Saves the thumbs.

The Techsights are indispensable, too. And work great. I need to get the speed knob for my windage adjustment.

I'd like for Techsights to make the rear sight in the A2 style- I'd tolerate a higher front sight base, particularly if they made it look like an AR15 FSB...

+1 on Tech-Sights. Just installed a set on a Wal-Mart special (22" SS barrel). Shot pretty much dead on, as installed, without needing any adjustment. Really enjoyed shooting with them...

I need to go get one to build my second LTR.

My LTR is my favorite gun it is a ton of fun to shoot and acurate enough to boot.

Killer deal. I paid 230 for the stainless synthetic stock versus at the beginning of March. Go to the appleseed. I went a few weeks back with my son and we had a blast. gawd I love puns.

After the appleseed I broke down and spent the bucks on Tech-Sight. I installed them this week and hope to go shooting this weekend. Never played with peeps before but I do believe I will like them.

Is the trigger assembly and barrel band on your rifle metal or synthetic?

My first Appleseed was shot with a Swede 96/38 in 6.5x55.

The total money I spend on the LTR will be less than my ammo cost for that go 'round.

The trigger guard and bbl band feel like cast aluminum with a powder coat.

The butt stock plate is plastic.

I am going to take a 1022 to Appleseed. My 1022 is a blast to shoot in this configuration.

Mike

I just shot my LTR for the first time today with tech sights. As my friend is having tons of trouble with his ACOG on his piston drivin AR-15 (can't remember who makes it) I was shooting 2" at 100 yards with my little 22 :)

Ahh the smiles it brought to my face, still having mag problems though..:banghead:
