Ruger C.S.

Just thought I'd throw my hat in the ring regarding customer support. I have not dealt with Kel-Tec customer support. I have dealt with Ruger cs before; in every instance, their commitment to solve my problem has been top notch, which is far more than I can say for some in the firearms industry. (Big Green comes to mind...and I'm a 700 fan.)

I may pick up the Ruger when it comes out. But if I can find a P3AT with hardchrome slide Ill pick that up first. Im still sorta kicking myself for not buying the hardchrome slide P32 that was at the store when I was there Sunday. But I was looking for the P3AT. The only one they had was "blue" with a blued slide. Not really what I wanted.
But the chances of this store getting the Ruger in stock after 6months of production is very slim. A customer asked one of the clerks about the Springer EMP, the clerk replied he had never seen one or heard of it. I looked at the guy and kinda gave a *** smile. I think he left shortly after he got his answer from the clerk.

Contemplating a KelTec. P32 or P3AT? I already have a Browning .32, so I have the ammo. For defensive purposes how much difference is there between the .32 and the .380 if you factor in size and capacity of the 2 platforms?

Does anyone know when the LCP will be in Gun stores? Should I get on a wait list to purchase or should they be readily available?

I am interested in a LCP as well so I have been reading about it on the different forums and over and over again I see the words "copcat", "ripped off" and "stolen" being used.

Seems to me its the asthetics that bother everyone more than anything else. Many many guns out there are very similar internally to each other, but they don't quite look alike or there are so many differnt ones, i.e. CZ75/1911 clones, that no one cares. This however is a pocket gun and it has to be as small as possible. If you were going to make a pocket .380 what would you do differently from the P3AT/LCP? What completely novel approach would you suggest Ruger use?

Personally I may feel this way because I have for some time been waiting for someone to do exactly what Kel-Tec is doing and hopefully improve on it in the process. Especially once I found out that Old man Kel-Tec dosn't bother to claim ownership over his designs.

It looks to me that the LCP is slightly larger in all dimensions and just more than 1oz heavier. The only noticeable difference seems to be the trigger weight. Cant wait to handle both side by side and see which feels better.

Does anyone know what the trigger pull length of a P3AT is, I good smooth shorter trigger pull would make me want one over my P3AT.
