You need to remove it to get the quicker reset.

I'm going to remove it and put in a spacer. Some folks think it delays the SA reset. Easy enough to do.

My 97 is at Cajun getting the Emod conversion done. Easily out shoots my Dan Wesson 1911s and has a softer recoil impulse.
A pre B trigger is far superior to the B trigger.
