Bow Ideas

I am thinking on getting a bow. I am wanting and inexpensive simple bow. I grew up on recurve bows so I am lost when it comes to compound bows. Any ideas?

A new recurve bow has been on my mind for a while now but I think im gonna try and build my own. Deciding on materials is the roadblock but laminated split bamboo is currently top of the list.

I have gone full circle from childs recurve to expensive cutting edge compound, back to recurve.

check out craigslist for year or 2 old compound bows that never get shot after someone decides bowhunting is not for them

look em up, research that model and if you are interested, see if the guy will meet you at an archery pro shop to have them check it for cracks or any other problems...should you decide to buy it, they can then tune it to your specs
