I am in Arizona, and hold a CCW...and also have 2 automatic Benchmade knives.

There was no issue when I purchased mine, and AZ is like FL...our permit is literally a CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMIT. It covers knives, clubs, tasers...etc.

Sean, thanks for that. From what Benchmade told me, the store clerk was lying about their policy and the law. It is the attitude of the gun store's owner that is likely the problem here. What a shame. I moved to rural Florida to get away from precisely this kind of thinking.
