I have been shooting cap and ball revolvers for about a year and a half now and have guns in .31 .36 and .44 cal as well as a .50 cal flint pistol. I thought a natural progression would be to .45 Colt cartridge so I picked up a 1873 SAA by Uberti. I was shocked by the cost of factory ammo so I invested in reloading equipment and now can make my own .45 black powder cartridges. I can't wait to get to the range and try this out.
