BPI's "new" slug manual - not worth the wait

After ordering the "new" 3rd edition of Ballistic Products slug loading manual over 8 months ago, it finally came in the mail today. They had reported that they delayed it so they could include loading data for their "new and improved" plastic sabots (RSS-12 that replaced the earlier BLS-12) to allow shooting .50 caliber pistol bullets from a 12 gauge hand load. Well, they aren't mentioned anywhere in the manual. I am disappointed, there isn't much new information here.

I feel your pain. I bought a hevishot handloading manual several years ago and was irritated that most powders listed were old/rare ord discontinued. That being saidShannon was really helpful while trouble shooting my loads.
