Hey Guys, I bought a new BR110 lite luxe couple yrs ago. A really nice looking 12ga O/U. Right away it was so tight and stiff I could hardly get it open or closed. I finally got tired of fighting it and cleaned and put it away. Went back to shooting trap with my H015-12 Henry. Great gun!! Single shot break open with external hammer. Shot over 10000 rounds thru it. Wanted to shoot doubles so got the Rizzini out. Got some fine sandpaper & started sanding down the hinges. That helped some. I then relieved some of the spring pressure on the ejectors. That helped a little more. It is still a bit hard to open after firing. When shooting doubles when firing the top barrel 1st, bottom barrel fired off at the same time. I switched to firing bottom barrel 1st, the top barrel didn't off until I pulled the trigger, like it should work. I've shot about 8000 rounds thru this gun. I normally would shoot the top barrel when shooting singles, because loading the bottom barrel was too hard to do because it didn't want to open enough to get a live round in. Recently the top barrel firing pin broke. I called Rizzini and they sent me a replacement pin kit. I reload with Cheddite primers. On ocassion I would get a burn thru, but not very often. Any thoughts on this whole situation? Thanks

I bough a new in box Savage O/U made in 1972 by Valmet, now Tikka. It had a similar problem. I lightly stoned some of the surfaces. Once I get home from work, I will pist pucs of where it was rubbing and where I did the stoning work. Opens and closes nicely and shoots fine now.
