Well, last I heard, he's innocent...until PROVEN guilty...
He worked at an electric supply or as an electrician, sometimes those guys have tons of what looks like pipe and fittings, and I don't know that they named off ANYTHING that's on the list of forbidden articles...but if we lose sight of the innocent until proven guilty idea, we..have ..had..it....

He's definitely gonna' get some work-ups...I can wait until the whole story comes out...and the "scene has been made safe"...what else is there?

<1K rounds for the AK???

Must have been a short money period for him, as we've all had.

In any case, the JBT said they had his notes....

Are you sure they were written by him???
Maybe he had some "help".

Other than their claims, I see no illegal anything.

I'd be careful of calling him a "nut", since you will probably be next.

Still, go ahead at your own speed...

While the article does not state the actual location of pipe to the black powder, storing them in close quarters to each other is stupid.
As a home owner I have pipe and tubing used for repairs and projects around the house but they are stored as far away as possible to any powder I use for reloading. The same goes for anything able to be linked to suppressor making materials near the guns.

All you have to do these days is give any law enforcement agency an inkling of wrong doing and your butt is cooked.

It aint right, but paranoya is running rampant everywhere.

Common sense guys.

You are all bombmaking terrorists!

At least I can convince any journalist of that after I inventory your house.
Multiple black guns and more than 10 rounds of ammo! Chemicals, alarm clocks, wire and batteries! Egad!

I do like the Brady Campaign's press release. What slime. I think we should all buy at least one anti-gun book and keep it in our house. That way if they ever come to take us away, we can make sure the press catches on that we had anti-gun material in our house and that was what caused us to do whatever it was that we did that was illegal.

If the media would report it as such, but we all know what the odds of that are, don't we? Let's face it, you'd be lucky if they even logged it into evidence. Anything to save their sacred cause from discredit....

You mean like the press made such a big deal of finding Al Gore's book "Earth in the balance" in the Unabomber's shack?

I was going to make a comment but the gunstore owner interviewed in the article already said all that i wanted to say:

"If this is true, what people are saying, then the guy is an idiot -- there's no reason to fire a gun that way in the city limits. Writing all that stuff down, that was ridiculous," Bement said. "If all these allegations are true, then he should be put in jail. ... I think it's just giving the rest of us that like the sport of shooting a bad name, and it makes me mad."

You can't buy bomb-making materials at a gun shop.

Sure you can.

Regardless of what we use it for, smokeless powder does make an effective pipe-bomb. Like it or not.

Don't get me wrong, I was all with the guy (heck, I AM this guy, most of us are, except for...)

The part where he told pollice explicitedly that his written plans were to kill poloticians.

The part where he ND'd into his door.
