I am looking into once fired Lake city brass from Top brass.com and upon reading some about that brass it mentioned the lake city brass volume can vary from case to case cause its old military brass.

I really don't want to have to re-work a load that works because of a different case volume.

what's your thoughts?

Which LC brass are you looking at?

I just sorted 300 LC 5.56 brass and had fairly consistent capacities. It ranged from 30.3-30.8 with and overwhelming majority in the 30.4-30.6 capacity range.

I really like using the Redding Body dies and Lee Collet. Generally get around .0005"-.0015" runout with that combo.

Plus the Redding Body die, really sizes the whole case and easy to set to bump shoulders.

Just another thought to go with FL resizing
