I found this Vaquero at a local shop. It might be the makings of a "Barbecue gun" or maybe just a nice packing piece:

Don't do anything to that goregeous piece other than putting it in a floral carved holster. I might think about black leather one for that gun. What caliber BTW?

Says ".45 Cal." on the side. To me, that means .45 Colt not .45ACP.

I'd leave the grips if they are horn...if not FIND some black horn...have some on one of mine and they look GOOOOOOOD. Black micartas look OK too....NO PEARL!

Then a nicely floral carved or Western carved holster for it...Maybe a gussied up Threepersons.
