Brockman's Pop-up Peep Sight

Does anybody have experience with Brockman's Pop-up Peep Sight?

I was wondering whether it holds it's zero after it is depressed & pops back up upon removal of scope?

I was thinking that as part of practical rifle setup, it should work well with a front sight and quick detach rings.

That looks like a neat idea. I guess if the rear sight is near ghost ring size it won't matter too much if it pops up slightly different each time.

My other thought is, if the rifle is sighted in with that sight and then the rear sight is kept down for a long time, that grunge or rust may keep it from popping up to the correct height when you need it in the field.

If you get one, please report back because that is interesting.

Good point on it's ability to work when needed most.

This is the response from Brockman's to the original question: "It's spring loaded and the elevation adjustment has a lock."

So I suppose that means that it returns to the preset position, i.e. it retains it's zero.
