Bronze Bore Cleaning Brushes

Does the quality of these brushes vary from mfg to mfg? Should I buy just any old no-name brand for the caliber of gun I'm cleaning and just-go-for-it? Do you have a preference? I don't mind spending a little more for quality!

I'm just "getting into" gun maintenance, need to stop relying on my son to do it for me! Much appreciated, thanks.

There "may" be differences according to brand, but I've not noticed a functional difference myself. I usually replace them when they start loosing tension so to say. The only thing I have been fussy about though is never to use brass brushes with anything but a brass support or frame, whatever you want to call it. Nothing like a piece of steel or stainless going down the bore to scratch it silly.........
