Brownells shipping

Are they always slow? Midway ships my order in 3 days every time. I have been waiting for Brownell's to process my order for over a week and a half. Sent an email and got an empty email for a response. Not the best start to a new customer. Maybe I will stick with Midway.

I always got a quick response from CS.

Was everything in stock? They give you the option of shipping in stock items now and shipping backordered parts, or holding the entire order until complete...

Not that I have ever checked the wrong box

I normally get my shipping notification within a day or two. There have been times I've received my order before the USPS tracking number worked.

I usually get my orders within 1 week. The only time it took longer was that the manufacturer would not deliver a product to them that they considered was inferior. The manufacturer was Wilson Combat. To their credit Brownell's offered the same item from another manufacturer but I was set on Wilson Combat parts for my 1911. To Wilson's credit they would not put out an inferior product simply because their supplier did not meet Wilson's standard for quality control. The part was worth the wait.

You will not find better customer service people then those Iowa farm girls at Brownells.

I've never had a problem with them either. Actually, I placed an order with them late Sunday night and my package was marked "out for delivery" on the tracking info when I looked this morning so it will be here today, so 4 days from order to delivery for me and that's usually about average for them with me. I live in illinois so it doesn't have far to go

As a 20 year customer of Brownells I haven't had to contact their customer service very often, but when I have, it was handled just as rc stated. They're great people to deal with.

I buy from both Brownells and MidwayUSA. I always choose the cheapest shipping option, I cannot remember any order taking more than three work days to arrive.
Most recently, I ordered the AR upper build kit on a Tuesday, shipped that day, had it by Friday evening, UPS.
