historic value is second, except for a few, then I shoot the replacement mags and keep the original as pristine as possible.
Thank you, that's what I expected. The magazine actually looks like someone deliberately modified it by cutting the back corner and part of the feed lip; one would presume that this was done in an attempt to make the pistol more reliable. It kind of looks like a DYI job done with a dremel, followed-up with a pair of pliers.
