I have several .22 levers, Marlin 39A, Marlin 97 CL, Winchester 9422, Henry Golden Boy and my newest, a Browning BL-22 Grade II FLD Octagon. The Browning is by far the best made and finished of the batch. It has a 24" Octagon barrel and beautiful wood. With the 24" octagonal barrel, it's more "man-sized" than the 20" barrel models. The size is more Marlin 39 like. The Winchester and Henry have the shorter barrels and so are smaller and don't have the heft of a 24" barrel rifle. I would not hesitate to buy anything made by Miroku. Absolutely top quality and they are great shooters. I've seen people complain about the BL-22's trigger but mine is very nice. Not a complaint in the world about anything Browning sells. YMMV and JMHO
