gettin' a Browning BLR (lever action) Lightning (a variant that is out of production) w/ pistol grip (no barrel band on forearm) chambered in .243 Win; with this rifle being a carbine with a shorter 20" or 22" barrel and being a lever action (top tier and priced to boot), what kind of accuracy can I expect between 100 yds and 200 yds? is 250 yds to much to expect from the platform?

scope will be a Nikon Buckmasters 4.5 - 14 x 40 w/ duplex crosshairs; intended uses are: (primary) whitetail deer and (secondary) infrequent groundhog

I had one for several years in 300 win that was a consistant 1.25-1.5" gun. The recoil was stout, no doubt due to the stock design.
