Browning BLR trigger job?

I recently purchased a Japanese made Browning BLR in .308 Winchester.

It's a teriffic rifle, but I would like to lighten the trigger pull. I'm guessing it might be 6+ lbs.

Any advice appreciated. Different springs,etc. (I'd like to do the job myself)

Posts from people on other forums, who have disassembled their BLRs, have indicated it is not a job for do-it-yourselfers, being quite a challenge. I can detail-strip a 1911 without looking at the instructions or a diagram, and regularly got inside my S&W revolvers when I used them as duty weapons, but I look at my BLRs, and think I better leave it to a 'smith. Edited to add: getting a BLR apart is no so hard; it's getting it back together that is supposed to take special knowledge. Something about the timing of the toothed parts.

Thanks for the information. I'd better not mess with it.
I might talk to some local smiths, but I'll likely hold hard and squeeze.
I'm just used to about a 2 1/2 lb break.
