Bought used and first time out.

Locks up when shooting 3" duck loads. Have to take the barrel off to get the spent hull out.

Cycles fine when I just run shells through without shooting.

Barrel is marked 2.34 and 3"

Havent tried 2 3/4 yet but will tomorrow.

Could be old shells but they shoot fine in my other guns.

Any other ideas???

Clean and polish the chamber area. Probably has plastic buildup and maybe some light rust causing shells to stick.
Got to thinking - dangerous I know. Do you mean the hull is sticking in the chamber, or is it coming out of the chamber, but hanging and not ejecting?
