I just saw one of these Browning Buck Mark 18" carbines. Does anyone know anything about these????? This one was a 18" heavy barrel, scope mount and fixed stock. I know the Buck Marks are good pistols, but how are these carbines. Anyone have one or has shoot one????

All the carbine is, is the pistol with an extended barrel and buttstock. Save your pennies for a real .22 rifle and buy an old Savage/Anschutz or CZ 452.

And how is that a bad thing? I have a Buckmark carbine, and it's no less accurate or reliable than a 10/22. It is, however, lighter and more ergonomic when shooting off hand. If I could only own one .22 rifle, the Buckmark might not be it, but it has its place and it's very nice little rifle.

I too was intrigued by the carbine both for its unusual ergonomic design and the proven Buck Mark platform.
When American Rifleman did a review, accuracy was less impressive than my bone stock 10/22 and at that price it lost its attraction.

Still, if I had money to burn.......
